This post is a little longer than I intended, but it didn't feel right splitting it up. People have been talking about why millennial are leaving the church for quite some time and I figured, as a millennial who left the church and came back, I have an obligation to provide some insight.

When we read any book, we usually identify with the hero. the Bible is no different. We always think we would make the right choice. We think that put in the same situations as people like the young rich man of Matthew 19, we would make the right decision... But would we? Hindsight is 20/20 after all.

Nothing in life worth having comes easy and the same is true for our relationship with God. What are you willing to leave behind to follow Jesus? If Jesus told you to sell all of your possessions, give them to the poor, and follow Him, would you go? Or would you stay behind in the safety of what you know?

I'm not much for resolutions, but there are some things that I'd like to see happen next year. I've been planning these things for a while, but now seems like the appropriate time to share...

Just because things aren't perfect on Earth, doesn't mean God doesn't exist. It doesn't mean He doesn't love us, and it doesn't mean He isn't watching out for us.

The 16th testimony discusses journey from becoming merely a believer to a representative of Christ in all that you do. This journey helped me to become a better person.
